error unterminated-string

error Standard: [§1.5]

What it means#

A string literal that starts with " must end with a closing " (§1.5). Ordinary strings cannot continue past the end of the line; a string that spans several lines must be written as a multiline literal """...""". The same holds for raw strings r"..." and byte strings b"...".

Example#

oxl✓ checked in CI
fn main() {
  print("hello)      // <- unterminated-string
}
error
unterminated-string

How to fix#

oxl✓ checked in CI
fn main() {
  print("hello")
}

Add the closing quote. If the text really has several lines, use a multiline literal; its common indentation is removed.
