OxL Reference

error unknown-lint

error Standard: [III.4]

What it means#

The rule named in @allow(lint: ...) is not an analyzer rule (a name of the table of III.4, a diagnostic code or the name of a [lint] plugins rule). A misspelt rule would silence nothing and hide the mistake.

Example#

oxl✓ checked in CI
@allow(lint: magic-litteral, reason: "x")       // <- unknown-lint
fn f() {}
error
unknown-lint

How to fix#

Use the name printed in the warning you want to silence (warning[magic-literal]).

oxl✓ checked in CI
@allow(lint: magic-literal, reason: "x")
fn f() {}
