warning import-skip
rpc импортированного .proto-файла пропущен.
What it means#
import proto "file.proto" turns every rpc of the file's services into an rpc of an extern service, except those whose wire protocol the OxL runtime cannot speak yet. Today that is a client-streaming or bidirectional rpc of a foreign .proto: the runtime sends the plain parameters in a first message and every stream element in a following one, while a foreign server expects the elements only. Such an rpc is left out of the generated service (a comment in the generated source says so) and this warning names it. Services written in OxL and exported with oxl export --proto mark their stream field with [(oxl.stream) = true] and import without a warning.
Example#
service Chat { rpc Talk(stream Msg) returns (stream Msg); } // <- import-skip when Msg is a plain foreign messageHow to fix#
Call the other rpcs of the service, or put a thin OxL service in front of the foreign one. Foreign client streaming is planned for 1.0.
