8.2 Suspension points

A task can yield its thread only at suspension points: a call of a suspendable function (§6.2), await, for await, channel operations, select, an actor message call, leaving a scope. Between suspension points the code of a task runs atomically with respect to other tasks of the same data-owning task (the data of other tasks is inaccessible by §7.3).
