OxL Reference

2.1 Packages and modules

  • A package is a directory with oxl.toml. The unit of build, versioning and publication.
  • A module is a directory inside src/. All .oxl files of the directory form one module and share a namespace. A subdirectory is a child module.
  • The root module of a package is src/; its name is the package name.
  • The order of declarations in a module does not matter. Cyclic dependencies between modules are a compile error; inside a module they are allowed.
